I Was Reading The Newspaper When I Came Across The Article About Reservation For Women, I Know That This Bill Is In Circulation Since 1996, But I Am Shocked To See The Tremendous Support It Is Getting Now Too. To Start With Reservation Are Made For That Section Of Society That Is Not Developed To The Level That Others Are, And If We Talk About The Two Genders Then I Would Say That They Are Very Very Well At Par.
Though I Am A Female Chauvinistic Person, BUT I AM COMPLETELY AGAINST THE BILL. By Making A Bill Like This All What We Are Doing Is Proving, That The Females Are Vulnerable And Dependable And They Need A Stick Of Reservation To Even Stand In Parliament.
I Believe In Equal Rights For Women, And Equal Rights And Reservation Can Never Go Hand In Hand. By Doing So We Are Not Only Degrading The Level To Which Women Have Come , But We Are Giving Men A Chance To Say ‘Look You Still Haven’t Reached Our Levels, You Still Need Reservation.’.
Another Aspect Of Looking At This Is That Now That The Reservation Has Come To Practice, There Will Be 30% Female Candidates Put In Just For The Heck Of It, Whether They Deserve To Be There Or Not.
